Auburn does what it wants.

Get over it. We have no State Governments controlling us like the rest of the SEC "Big 6" teams.

We will hire who we want, when we want, whenever we chose.

We can certainly weather a storm if needed

Bragging about being pieces of shite isn't a good look.

Not one Auburn poster in this thread has talked about the family atmosphere or the fact that your team volunteers in Haiti or something to dispute the claim. That is the kind of fostering culture that eventually creates Baylor's and Penn Sts.

And FYI my team beat Auburn and has a culture of doing the right thing even if we do it in a weird way (Google "The Big Event") so I feel safe throwing this particular stone at your big and evil glass house.

Honesty I expected a "hey we are good people too, look at ______" response not this "we are the Sith and deal with it" response. Yall are all kinds of fricked up if his claims of culture are even partially true, and given the responses yall either seem proud of your fricked up culture or are willing to rationalize it by falsely accusing others of the same.

I guess being suck in the same state as the most successful program in college football has driven yall mad over time.

Sorry, but firing coaches for losing (even 2 years removed from a NC) is not comparable with covering up boys getting raped in a shower. Sorry you can't see the difference there.

Any reasonable fan knows all that's horseshite. You play to win the game.

Regardless, this entire argument is ridiculous considering the total lack of factual information to back up a claim that Auburn is a morally bankrupt program in any way comparable to PSU. I assume that the perception of corruption stems primarily from unsubstantiated pay-for-play allegations that even if true aren't remotely on the same level, and definitely wouldn't suggest that Auburn would behave similarly in that position.

Some nut job POS writes an article and you take it as fact.

Your school coddled Johnny Maziel. Your school looked past his transgressions because he was winning games for you. These are facts and not speculation.
