That's a game we lose on the road every time in 2014 and 2015. As awful as it was, it's a sign this group is different. Nice work team, now go fix that shite.

You deserve one of these
Our offense needs RSJ but Mazzone did a bunch of experimenting in the first half

We really need Williams and Ford healthy. The running game drops off considerably without them IMO. If we had come out pounding the ball we win by 20+ IMO

You knew it was coming. The other shoe was bound to drop some time. This is our last SEC win for the season.

Seriously glad we came out with a win. Had trap and let down game written all over it. Especially when you consider how banged up we are after the Arky hawgs. Mega game next week. Get healthy get focused. The bring on Tenn

Didn't Kentucky allow less points than us? I mean...the D played well but sloppy at times. That first play......

This group didn't show anything different today than teams of years past. Barely won against a garbage team lol this about the time we collapse. That game doesn't show anything to say we'll win a big home game next weekend and reverse that trend of collapsing. Better hope health is on our side next week. Play like that and Tennessee, who honestly isn't that good (top 25 but not too 15) will blow you out at home.
It was a huge trap game but not mentally preparing are guys throughout the week like this was a top 10 matchup is what we've seen from sumlin his entire tenure. Our guys clearly thought they'd just show up and win. Frustrating but they better be focused now. Sad thing is we typically play better on the road under sumlin

I had a bad feelin the whole game long. Seemed like it would never end.
Really happy we survived that sucker.

Disappointing but not completely unexpected. Also, illustrates the competiveness of the SEC. That's a 4 TD coast against an equally placed Big XII team. Margins have narrowed.

A big part of the problem is Sumlin teams never do the little things well. We are talented with great coordinators this year but we see Sumlin's lack of football nuance regularly popping up. For instance, running an RPO and even giving Knight the option to throw on the last posession. Wasting 2+ timeouts a game for various reasons. Justin Evans on kick returns to keep Kirk from getting hurt. Untimely penalties. Not spotting an obvious fake punt/FG.
On a macro level we're very good. The little details though escape us most of the time.

I feel like my post was pretty complimentary given we just almost lost to what's going to be a 3-4 win team

Dammit Roger, we didn't almost lose, we won by 2 scores and that was after some turnovers

Dude, we're 5-0, 3-0 SEC. Ranked maybe #7 this week. UCLA, Auburn, Arkansas, SC. You may want to relax. Times are good. Of course we can improve, but so can everyone. Try enjoying it, bruh.

I mean if we don't fumble that we have a decent chance of TYING the game. But I agree with the overall sentiment. A road win in the SEC is a road win in the SEC. They usually never come easy.
Good game y'all. Glad we were able to at least make it exciting

Agreed, that game confirmed my resolve to enjoy THIS season, because in a way it was a preview of how much we are gonna suck next year without Miles and RSJ.
