Along with Bama playing Vandy, Ole Miss, and MSU so often, no wonder Bama has 29 SEC Championships.

The barn of all programs shouldn't dismiss your daddy vandy

You are showing your stupidity by including Ole Miss in that statement.
But you're a fricking idiot who believes the SEC West schools have played each other every year for a century right?
Try again.

Didn't help Auburn any. But maybe this is the year you guys even the series record with them.

Vandy has only beaten Auburn twice since 1958. Au played Vandy waaaaaaaay back when Vandy was worth a shite.
Even before the conference split into divisions AU has played the other members of the Big 6 more than any of the rest have.
Once the split happened Bama still had no chest and had Vandy of one of their permanent cross-division teams whereas AU had UGA and UF.
But keep thinking playing one of the overall easiest schedules every year didn't play any part any those SEC Championships.

Auburn played 266 games against Big Six teams from 1950-2015.
Bama played 252 games against Big Six teams from 1950-2015.
Auburn and Alabama rank #1 and #2, respectively, in number of games played against Big Six programs. Bama leads in winning percentage against those programs by a wide margin, and is the only Big Six program to have a winning record against every single other Big Six program.
What were you saying?

Auburn was one of our best contributors to this.

Don't confuse him with facts! His noggin cannot handle it.

Why the extended break?

That 2008 game was bizarrely close.

If your series record vs Kentucky (as an SEC member) is not lopsided, you are doing something wrong
Posted on 9/28/16 at 7:25 am to RollTide1987
So hard to imagine that Bama and Kentucky went 25 years without playing each other.

I always thought it was complete bullshite how UGA, Florida and Tennessee had the good fortune of playing Vandy and Kentucky every year. Say what you will about Mississippi State but they have a considerably more competitive football program.

You must have a short memory, pre-Dan Mullen Kentucky was easily the better team. In fact, Mullen has never lost to UK and they just took the series lead last year.

When's the last time Mississippi State had a 25+ game losing streak against a single conference opponent like Kentucky had against Tennessee from 1986-2010 and Florida does now? I'll hang up and listen.

22 consecutive losses to Alabama from 1958-1979.
Just look at the history of the programs from 1868-2008 (the year prior to Mullen arriving at State)
Kentucky 560-552-44
Mississippi State 485-527-39
It's getting closer now, but that wasn't the time frame referenced.
1869-2015
Kentucky 592-606-44
Mississippi State 540-562-39
