We all know Stanford's outstanding reputation for academic excellence and for being on the cutting edge. Their graduates drive economic growth no matter where they matriculation after leaving Palo Alto.
Here is a new initiative focused on driving growth in some of the most depressed areas of our country. They are willing to cut $160k of the tuition for qualified MBA students with a promise to live in some of America's deepest cultural abysses for only two short years.
Their trial program admitted a student from Ferguson, MO who offered the following quote about how the program helped him see a brighter future:

Would-be fellows must show strong connections with at least one state in the area—Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin fit the bill—such as living there, currently or for at least three consecutive years in the past, or being a graduate of a Midwestern high school.

Where I grew up, I didn't have a lot of opportunity for a brighter future. Stanford MBA helped restore my faith in humanity, going from a segregated culture to an inclusive and welcoming progressive society on the West Coast. And the girls blew the meth addicted trash back home out of the water!

Seems pretty racist by Stanford to me!
All those white people states and none below the Mason Dixon Line here you have high population per capita states with black people. Stanford is afraid to play football in the south and #SECLivesMatter.
Interesting they don't go to Pennsylvania (Penn State), Maryland (Maryland), or New Jersey (Rutgers) so i guess #NotAllB1GLivesMatter.

I don't think they are required to give reduced tuition in an affirmative action manner. Or required to at all.
Anyone can apply

They're using the Midwest as a warm-up to practice before they target America's real shithole known as the South.
