I'm judging off of Alabama standards not USC or Stanford or whoever else...and by our standards our Dline has no depth and it will be a problem/concern.
I'd love to be wrong about this, but I think SC's D-line issues will be what wins the game for you.
If you're "not deep" by Bama standards, then SC is knee high to a piss ant.

Don't be too concerned, your team will be the favorite to win the SEC West and your unproven players are better than the returning players from other teams.
Enjoy the season, I think the SEC West will be very interesting

Bama's front 7 on D will be fast and nasty, hopefully the new D depth does its job...

What's your point?
You're not implying that your '15 offensive numbers went up are you?
We all know they didn't. At least not the important ones, scoring and total "O".

It would also help if Davis was cleared, kid is going to be a monster.
Unless something drastically changes, which could happen, you are going to be sadly mistaken if you thin he will contribute as a true freshman. I actually watched him for 3 years in HS and think he would be a much better OT than a DT.

saban's history at bama says defensive numbers will increase in '16.
Three times ('10, '12 and '14) saban has returned five or fewer starters on "D". ALL three times his scoring "D" and total "D" numbers went up from the previous year.

My point is every year we lose the majority of our starters at 2-3 position groups and every year we win 11-12 games.

I think if the DL stays in-tact injury wise we will be just as good or better.
what the frick is up with all this _______ - wise shite!? let's try and expand our vocabulary. How about saying: I hope our defense avoids injuries, or stays healthy, stays out of the training room, shite something.

Because using more words to explain something that can be succinctly summed up in one phrase is what people trying to sound intelligent do.
How exactly is "hope", "avoid injury", "stay healthy", "stay out of training room" some sort of expanded vocabulary? Apologies, I'll try and use fancy words like avoid from now on to demonstrate my intellectual savvy.

There is a reason why Alabama came in at 99 out of 128 schools in returning experience. Returning production figures into that as well which in itself is big. You don't lose the players that y'all did and don't feel that. I know the talent or potential talent is there but it still has to show up. Will it, more than likely it will because of the great recruiting classes year after year.
That would be valid if Alabama didn't have less returning experience last year. In and of itself, it's where the experience is at. Or lack thereof. Alabama has overcome that at QB time and again. This is a first at RB. But there's a good OL and greats WRs to lean on. But this is all a big reason I'm still thinking 10-2.
As for the DL, the depth isn't there but the two deep is still very good. LBs will play a bigger role in 2016 though. Much like they did earlier in the Saban era. My worry is the DL in 2017. It could be paper thin.

Really, so Les is going to trot out an oline that can actually get some push and open up holes this year?
I hope so if LF7 has any room to run LSU cruises to victory.
If not.. another loss to daddy
