1. That is one messed up sim.
2. Legit sims run the sim thousands of times rather than once or even 100 times.

That said, it's interesting. I'll give you that. I think it's very, very, wrong but interesting. Without the formula it's hard to put any stock in it at all.

If Tennessee shits the bed, they liable to burn Neyland Stadium and push that sonofabitch in the Tennessee River. Milwaukee style!

With SEC football starting in 2 weeks I thought it would be cool to somehow simulate the SEC season, but I wanted to do it as realistic as possible and to get a realistic amount of upsets. My friend I go to college with is an absolute math whiz and a football fan so I asked him if there was a way to. He told me about some formula(don't even ask me what formula cause I'm not smart enough to know) but it accounted for home field advantage, talent, etc. This is what we got.

Obvious by your choice of schools. Interesting though. Can't take into consideration injuries, a big part of the game. Also can't take into consideration coaching intangibles. I'll be interested in how this pans out.

Looks like the formula was 3 Vol fans wishing and hoping.

So Miss State will lose to Kentucky in first time under Dan Mullen and we lose to Arkansas for first time in....is it 4 or 5 straight years? Makes perfect sense to me.

I know, I know, we don't have Dak. But Mullen has had 8 and 9 win seasons before Dak with other QB's.

If Ole Miss gets out of Septmeber undefeated in SEC play (I don't expect this but your friend's formula predicts it) we aren't losing to Arkansas and Auburn... We'll beat both of them handily if that's the case.

This might be the most complete and comprehensive thread to rustle people I have seen from a Vol poster. I know you did it, but damn this thread will be fun!

This wasnt self serving was it? I think you need a new friend who is bad at math but is great at history.

What are you hillbillies going to do when you lose 3 games?

Dont worry...come to the Rant and we will be here for all the Vols and comfort you.

Well, I would like an SEC Championship, but if LSU goes 10-2 and the two losses are to Auburn and A&M, I will be extremely surprised. I can think of at least four other games we are more likely to lose than Auburn, and at least six more likely than A&M. If we can't beat these two chumps, no way in hell do we beat all the other teams on our schedule.
