For the Arky fans arguing here, this same group rated your offense as the second most efficient in the bation last year behind Baylor.
Somehow I think you guys will agree with their data there.
As for the list.... Auburn should probably be on it, but I would think Bama is in there too

Don't cry, scooter. It'll all become a lot clearer in about a month.

Alabama's depth is top 10.
Depth is very unimportant for the offensive line, punter, QB, and kicker. Almost every team plays the same five offensive lineman every play of the game. All you need is one or two backups in case someone gets hurt.

We have actually been using seven interior lineman the last few years. Situational subbing, extra lineman in unbalanced line formation or use as HB in short yardage or goal line.

Derrick Henry did. Unless you're trying to tell me Henry wasn't actually that good and your OL is the reason he won then Heisman.
Wait wait wait
Now Henry won in spite of the OL? I thought he was just a plug and play overrated back behind the amazing Alabama OL?
And LSU has a top 5 line? I thought I read Bama shut down LF because their line was awful?
This is all very contradictory and confusing.

Henry carried that whole team of 3 stars

Seriously, it's apparent that you've never been an offensive lineman, especially down south.

quote:I have a hard time believing anyone puts an OL at the top that got shredded like Bama at times. If it wasnt the 4th quarter in a blow out or they weren't holding Bama's OL was average at best. Even with all the talent. They made Tim Williams look like a beast at ADay.
I'm having a hard time believing that Auburn will have a better OL than Alabama.
TFL allowed:
65 Auburn
66 LSU
101 Bama
Sacks allowed:
17 LSU
19 Auburn
26 Bama
YPC
6.10 LSU
4.67 bama
4.35 Auburn

Was he going against the 1st team Oline?

It's amazing how you guys don't get that PFF spends countless hours analyzing film and uses actual, incredibly in-depth, statistics and data. They aren't basing this off recruiting stars and names on jerseys like you morons.
I find it amusing that you actually believe they did this.

AU and LSU also posed virtually no passing threat last year. There's only 5 guys on the OL, so when the best run defense in the country puts 8 guys in the box there's only so much the OL can reasonably do.
Of which Alabama never did. AU wasn't good enough for us to waste stacking the box against. LSU - we just lined up and said beat us.

quote:You're such a typical Aub. 4th quarter blowouts are when the backups are in, leading to most of the dumb stats you posted. Bama, unlike Auburn, has a lot of blowouts. But it is true that Bama's o line wasn't dominant last season, which makes what Henry did even more spectacular.

How many starters does the tide return from that dominating front seven of '15?
Define "starter".
Number of played snaps returning?
Bama rotates a crap ton of guys, so a lot of players returning got a lot of playing time (legit time too, not just mop up duty)

Backups are in for both teams in blowouts.
