Who are the biggest Heisman snubs in history?

Eric Crouch over Rex Grossman was a travesty.

Crouch's numbers

105 of 189 for 1,510 yards with 7 tds and 10 ints,
1,115 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns

2600 total yds and 25 tds is pretty pedestrian

Jason White over Larry Fitzgerald is another one, Fitz was absolutely unstoppable that year at Pitt.

A lot of people think Suh got snubbed the year Ingram won it

Troy Smith over DMAC is a travesty as well.

my football memory starts in 93 so I can't chime in on heismans before that.

Before any UT fan comes in with the Peyton argument I for one believe they got it right with Woodson that year, he had an incredible season.

Jason White wasn't a travesty. He was the best player.

Manning losing to Woodson was a Disney thing.

it was toby gerhart that got snubbed.

Also george rogers over herschel was a huge snub. He should have won it in '81 as well.

YOung people today just don't get it. It wasn't not like it is now back then, if you weren't a senior you simply didn't win. In fact, in '82 when he did win HW was only teh SEVENTH non-senior to ever win. A soph didn't win it until 2007. Shows you how archaic and retarded the old style system was.

Peyton was screwed by northern media. Same thinking that screwed Bama out of the NC 66 and 77 .

Carson Palmer over Brad Banks in 2002.

Banks won the O'Brien as the better QB, but of course the USC player gets the media vote for the Heisman over the Iowa player.

Palmer's stats were slightly better, but he was on a loaded USC team while Brad Banks led Iowa to a share of the Big Ten title (I fully believe they matched up well against OSU and would've beat them), and at the time a school record 11 wins with significantly less to work with than Palmer.

It's hard to call it a snub because Marcus Mariota put up ridiculous numbers too, but Melvin Gordon deserved it in 2014 IMO.

2587 Yards
7.54 YPC
29 TDs

Also had 3 receiving TDs.

Dmac losing to smith because he was a sophomore was ridiculously stupid... then tebow wins it as a sophomore over Dmac...tebow actually deserved it and got it,Dmac got screwed.

I haven't watched that crap since and sure give it no credibility...populalarity contest is all it is...

David Greene not winning the Heisman caused me to stop watching college football for a while.

Greene was a great player and leader. He should have won one.
