We have too many tigers, and the "Bayou Marsupials" has a certain je ne sais quoi.

Plus, Possum is also Possum en Francais.

It's an animal that you often find passed out, so it fits LSU fans pretty well.

Does anybody know of an animal that enjoys sexually assaulting sleeping Possums? You know, for Bama?

LSU has highest priority on Tigers based on the following factors:

Historical significance of the name
Maintenance of a live mascot

Unless or until someone else steps up and gets a live Tiger, the others should have to change.

One nuisance animal mascot in the SEC is enough.

just going off the dumbass populace of NOLa's notions. They aren't educated enough to know that LSU's mascot is based off a Confederate regiment.

I was with tongue in cheek.

Or the Washington Artillery, founded in 1814, found in 1838.

lsu being poor like it is should strongly consider it

The proper way to deal with SJW's is to abuse and oppress them, not to give in.

BTW, the 935th Field Artillery has a larger gold edge around the shield and the words "Continuous Fire"
