The circumstances alleged against Tennessee are frighteningly similar to those at Baylor, where coach Art Briles was dismissed and athletic director Ian McCaw resigned following an independent review of the school's culture and institutional response toward sexual assault.

Fox Sports nailed it with this article. This has been part of the UTk culture since Peyton sat on that woman's face in the locker room and Fulmer was intimidating female victims.

Baylor was a little early in blaming it all on the coach. Tennessee will hold out as long as possible which is a wiser decision.

Not a Tennessee fan but sounds like this ex player has an axe to grind and has already gave conflicting statements. That Article sounds like the person who wrote it has a serious axe to grind with either Butch Jones or Tennessee lol. Sounds like some bitterness there.

So, as much as I would like to see another fanbase squirm right now, I don't think you can compare the two at all. Has sexual assault occurred at both schools? Yes. But it occurs at every school. I don't know about years gone by, but I don't know of a sexual assault accused player that has stayed on the team or one that has transferred in from another school under Butch Jones. He has booted several guys the second they were accused. Has something wrong been done, I don't know. But I haven't seen anything linked to Jones. The only thing he did wrong is if you believe he called the kid a traitor and maybe that he didn't suspend the kids who beat him up, if that happened. Overall, completely different situations.

Ole Miss will still get nailed... But still some really disgusting shite going on in Tennessee. Jones will eventually loose his job over this.

So you are going to hang your hat on an opinion piece with no additional info by some random guy on FS??

This article could have been written by anyone on here. No different than being on Bleacher Report imo. Such a waste of time...

The circumstances are completely different. The crux of the suit is that we allow the accused representation and the plaintiffs don't like that but we have no choice as it's a part of an older state law about rights. We've never been accused of covering a damn thing up -- in fact, it would be nigh impossible for that to happen given our media.

That said, I welcome scrutiny on this since we handled everything the same as Vandy. We dismissed immediately - before charges or anything.

How goes OM?? V&S treating you right?
