Skai Moore will have surgery Friday to repair disc in his neck and will miss the 2016 season.

Skai Moore's neck injury never healed like Gamecocks hoped. He will redshirt this year and play in 2017. Full recovery expected.

Dang, most underrated linebacker in the SEC. Sucks, hope he can get a medical RS.

ETA: Saw Gamecock4life's post. Good deal

Crap. One of the better linebackers in the country, who just so happens to be our best player, out. Well, that 7 win rebound season might take a bit of a shot. ??

I hate this for Skai he is a pleasure to watch.

Wasn't he going to go Pro before Muschamp came in?

I guess this is a good thing that he didn't so it can heal and he can come back in 2017 show he is 100% and get drafted higher?

I am sure the NFL would have saw this when he was visiting teams and he would have been dinged badly in his draft position?

Think of it this way, you'll have a possible All American type defender on an experienced team now instead of wasting him on a transition group.

That sucks, team's leading tackler for the past 3 years. He was the big play guy on defense last year (for what few big plays we had on defense.)
