First time ever to get 4 teams as NS and all 7 are hosting a Regional. Who do you think has the toughest road to Omaha and how many make it? Granted the 4 NS should have it easier but that doesn't mean they make it. Here's my choices from hardest to easiest.
Vandy - Play the Cards in the Super and they are 33-1 at home!
Ole Miss- Play the Canes in the Suoer. Canes home 30-6 & OM Road 11-9
SC- Play their Rival in the Super- Coin flip on this one.
MSU- Home winning % is same as Road %. Play UL Lafayette in super. coin flip
LSU- Play NC State in Super who is 1 of 2 host teams that has losing road record
A&M- Plays Texas Tech in Super who is in the BIG 12---Enough Said.
Florida- Plays Noles in Super who is the other team with a losing road record.

Predicted teams in Omaha
Florida- I don't see Fl losing a game in Regional or Super
A&M- Ditto for the Aggies
LSU- Wolfpack has a couple of pitchers that could get 1 game in Super
SC- Knock down drag out in the Super but the Cocks pull it out.

I have all 7 teams making it to the Supers with State, OM & Vandy losing close ones.

LSU and A&M have probably the best matchups of the group.
MSU had a nice draw too
Vandy landed an awful draw but NCAA loves this matchup

Honestly, OM, SC, Florida have tough draws. I could easily see all 7 teams making or just two.

I would not discount Tulane or Southern Miss. Both had good games against their respective in state big boys albeit mid week games. La Tech has 1 awesome pitcher and can rake.
The State of Louidiana has several good teams this year. Many considered, until the recent run, LSU as the third or fourth best team in the state with ULL, TU, Siutheastern all better.
LSU will not play NC State. They will be playing Coastal Carolina who is very very good.

I'm happy LSU got the 4th seed. I'm really happy (and surpised) that with 7 SEC regional hosts, nobody got paired up together.

NCAA taking a little gamble here; obviously any team can lose, but I'd have sworn they'd have tried to minimize the SEC presence somewhat (just to inspire national following). It's possible all 7 could go to Omaha!

florida is the least likely to lose before omaha. partly because of their easy draw (#1 overall seed), but mainly because they're just really good.

i do think uconn could beat them in the winner's bracket game on saturday. but no way the huskies have enough pitching compared to florida to beat them twice.

lsu's draw is also stupid easy.

1) Ole Miss. You almost have to wonder if the committee was pre-punishing them for violations in other sports.

I don't know if you did that on purpose but I laughed.

SC has the toughest road because we have Holbrook as a coach and have to actually play the games.

Good list.

I have a feeling either Vandy or South Carolina will make a deep run. Unfortunately I also believe at least one of the national seeds won't make it. LSU I'm afraid is the most flawed team, though they certainly play hard. I can see MSU being knocked out also. That is not a knock on either team just how baseball is.
