**This is an average of each of the Preseason Polls that have been released so far (to my knowledge)
**Rankings included: Sporting News, Bleacher Report, College Football News, Campus Insiders
**Post-Spring rankings only
1. Clemson- 97
2. Alabama- 96
3. Oklahoma- 86
4. Florida St.- 84
5. LSU- 81
6. Ohio St.- 78
7. Michigan- 76
8. Tennessee- 70
9. Baylor- 68
10. Notre Dame- 66
11. Ole Miss- 64
12. Michigan St.- 49
12. Stanford- 49
14. Georgia- 48
15. Louisville- 41
16. USC- 16
17. Houston- 35
18. Oregon- 27
19. North Carolina- 25
20. Iowa- 21
21. Oklahoma St.- 18
21. UCLA- 18
23. Washington- 17
24. Wisconsin- 15
25. TCU- 12
FYI- Florida comes in at #26; Arkansas at #28
As the other sites come out with their rankings, the order of teams will fluctuate. ESPN and CBS have not yet released their Post-Spring rankings. Then of course Athlon, Lindy's, and Phil Steele should release theirs in the next 4-6 weeks. But typically the average of all the preseason polls tends to be nearly identical to the actual AP preseason rankings that come out in August.

Bama is 36-4 away from T-Town in the regular season since 08 and has only lost more then 1 game away from T-Town one time, in 10 when they lost twice. Bama is 40-5 if you throw in the SEC Championship game.

Nobody is arguing about the top 5 except OU isn't in it, but as for the rest of the list the best use for it is to wipe your butt with.

Actually....I don't think OU is in the top 5, nor do I think Clemson will be there. I know they have a ton coming back, but something tells me they will pull a OSU next year and not make it. LSU and Alabama could go either way. I can see either of them taking the West.

Wow, of all the teams Clemson has the best chance,IMO, to be a top 5 team at seasons end, due to Watson's return. He is by far the best returning QB and they have a good cast of supporting players.

LSU will not win the West. Even though they return a lot players those players (LF, excluded) just are not great. Plus, QB is a shite show. I easily see L5u losing 3+ games (Bama and @Ark are 2 losses, then at least one of these @Au, @TAMU, @UF and Ole Miss)

I can easily see bama losing at least three or possibly all four SEC road trips.
They lose the middle of their "O". Three of the four most important positions. Center, QB and RB.
Defense loses a ton of production. Most of the '16 backups didn't really produce much last year. Solid starting "D" just don't have the experienced reserves like in '15.
See how easy this is.

Nah, we'll be fine. Road games are overrated. We just won a title after "losing" everybody from previous year, qb not important on our team and rb's produce every year. Lsu isn't very good even with those guys back, bama never loses 3 games. Nah, it's not as easy as u think.

It's incredible to me that Tennessee is ranked to high. No offense to Tennessee, just surprises me.

If anybody "isn't in it", it's Florida State.

bama lives and dies by it's "D" and in '15 they returned almost all of it especially it's front seven. Not the case in '16.
