Dan Mullen and Kevin Sumlin should really have their salaries swapped.

Relativity my friend. 4 mil in Starkville is like 10 mil everywhere else.

Mullen is so much better of a coach than Sumlin is, and it is not close.

1) Not a stupid way to do it, given your revenue dictates the amount of expenses (i.e. coaching salary) you can absord
2) A&M murdered everyone in profit
2) A&M murdered everyone in profit

LSU has spent more money on it's football coaching staff since Sumlin has been at A&M than A&M has spent on its football coaching staff, and yet the results are pretty much identical.

That revenue # you are using is not sustainable and you know it. It is propped up due to Kyle field donations and seat licensing.

Yeah, but Les has actually won championships. What has Sumlin done?

Regardless of how it happened, Texas A&M's revenue was $83 million more than its expenses. The next closest was Florida at $22 million

The revenue number is much more sustainable than you think. The base of Texas A&M former
students is steadily growing.
We end up as high income people and contributions to the athletic program are not discretionary.
