I'm pretty sure UGA qualifies academically, especially if you are including Florida and Tamu.

He is probably going by AAU membership. I'd imagine Georgia joins Vandy, UF, A&M, and Mizzou at some point soon though.

Let me rephrase. I wouldn't go to any college in the South, except App State or Davidson.

Mizzou being AAU is a joke.

I'm from generations of Alabama grads so nowhere else really, but just based on if I wasn't allowed to pick Alabama, probably Georgia. No rivalry with Alabama, great accounting program, great overall school, great town, etc.

Why? I'm genuinely curious as to what your reasoning will be. No hurry.

A few years ago, Mizzou was ranked as the lowest member of the AAU members. I think that was one of the reasons they hired A&M's president as Chancellor. To try to strengthen their relationship with the AAU. They might have been getting threatened that they could lose membership like Nebraska did.

After going back and looking into the degree programs rankings I would consider UT as well. Now this would be for me personally and my field. If I am in the SEC footprint then GT would probably be where I would go outside of A&M. Edit maybe ECU too.

A&M is fairly elite when it comes to Engineering, Veterinary, Agriculture, and a few other lesser known degrees.
