I'm pretty sure he was responsible for all the crazy crossing movements they still do today.

Yeah from what I understand he was an innovator and did many of the arrangements of music still played today by the FTAB. I got the chance to meet him once. He was very nice. From everything I have heard he was a tremendous director and man.
