How the hell do you gameplan against these guys?...they can't rebound...there's no threat in the paint....they've got no "stop him and you win" player to contend with...they don't shoot free throws well...they constantly turn the ball over. They've got to be a nightmare to play until somebody figures them out.

Retin is that guy. Agree with the other stuff though.

He fouled out early against Fla and what happened?...

He fouled out with five minutes left and we held on the rest of the way. Not sure how you can watch the game last night and not think that Retin isn't 'that guy.'

He had a career night last night. He's obviously the leader and 1st option for the team, but if you'll look back over the last month, they've done well even when he wasn't at his best (i.e. Fla.)

He's been my favorite player to watch in the conference this year. He wills his club to victories.

They're so terrible, they're good. A rag tag motley crew assembled from random transfers, walk-ons and remains of a bottom dwelling team last year....

Funny thing is Jones loved to let other teams have breakout games against us.

I'll agree. When UK came to Tuscaloosa a few weeks ago, they were pissed and took it out on Alabama (similar to the USCe game). Alabama's only hope is that UK can't get up for them at Rupp and Alabama comes in on fire.

Breakout game? Alabama has beaten several tournament locks this year, I wouldn't call a win over a group teetering on the bubble a breakout game. Big win for sure, breakout game it was not

I hope it's not a "bug meets windshield" kind of night. Seriously though, if Alabama can hold serve at home (MSU,Auburn and Hogs) and win a SEC tourney game or 2, they should be dancing this season.IMO.............who'd a thunk it!

It's probably because in light of their athletic ability, they play terrible defense.
