I didn't realize until just now that Najee has a meniscus tear in his knee that he's been playing with, and is going to have surgery. Meniscus tears don't require a very long recovery time.

Think so. Some people can play with it for a good while. It's certainly not ideal, though.

I hope everyone will at least forgive Najee when they find out Harris refused to talk to the media because he was pissed off about the media storm that they created over his recruitment.

Najee simply refused to comment on things he perceived as ridiculous IMO.

I think so too. I think worst case maybe he's having some 2nd thoughts and wants to wait a couple days so he and his mom can talk to Saban. If so, I'm confident Coach can handle it.
Hopefully Najee cares about championships and understands reality.
If he goes to UM and they make the playoffs, odds are he'll face Bama and be shut down.

If Harris were to go somewhere else, this is how I see it...
It would suck if he went to Michigan. They're going to remain competitive. But them being good also helps keep osu in check, so it's not terrible. Losing top recruits to top SEC schools and OSU are what piss me off the most. Michigan would be a 6/10.
Cal would barely be a blip on the radar. He'd probably help them become above average, but not a real threat while he'd be there. Plus, it's close to home and a great school. If I were an elite recruit out of high school, I'd have probably wanted to go out west (Fran and Bama was on or about to hit probation). I'd still remain a fan if he went to a situation like at Cal.
