We have 2 of our top 3 in-state targets, with the third being the uncommitted #2 5* RB in the nation, for whom we're typically considered the leader. Outside of Akers, we haven't had many natural connections to the elite croots this year, and it's not like we have the #1 QB in the class drawing them in this year. I think we'll have plenty of star power come February.

I was being facetious bro. Though I do wonder if we can afford to commit to some of these guys early on when we aren't totally sure how our scholarship #s are going to look.

I had a feeling, but it was hard to tell considering the class is mostly 3*s and no 5*s haha. I hope we can snag Trey Smith and Ty Chandler out of Tennessee. I love getting kids the hillbillies should've had since day 1 (maybe not so much with Chandler considering he's a legacy), plus we owe them for Richardson, Kongbo, etc.

I'd say it's more of a SS/Nickel hybrid. Can drop into the box to help with run but still has great ability to play in space and match up on TEs/RBs.

He was ours but Chavis has an impressive track record and some kids get wowed by the facilities. Hard to blame him. Just like our coaches convincing kids we are an academic powerhouse, they can convince recruits their staff is going to be there in January

Well sumlin may not be there in January, so maybe that gives us an in with him later.
Also getting 2 linebackers committed may have swayed him to AM. We still need 2 more linebackers this class though.
Another 4 star hopefully and then A guy like Russell ( Grenada) who committed to state recently. Not as highly recruited but his film is great.

Are we still in on the Grenada kid that played at Memphis last year. He has a brother we were recruiting I thought.

So Minnesota has offered Juwan Treadwell. I know we haven't offered, but is he on our watch list? Good to see him get D1 offers

I'm sure he is. But we're tight on numbers as of now. So we can't offer everyone unless we know they're gonna be a contributor.
