Would that be such a bad thing?
You do realize that if you denote that evaluations are ongoing for every recruit, that is effectively meaningless right?

Don't accuse me of being upset just because I point out your straw man arguments( which you do a lot and will be concerning if you are an Auburn grad.)
Technically I didn't use any strawman as I never misrepresented your argument. I challenged your implied assumptions that evaluations are done. What I added as an opinion is a corollary to my argument that evals aren't done. It is a statement made exclusively assuming my initial proposition was true and stating my opinion if that was true.
A strawman would be only if I tried to represent your claim as having a problem with his ranking despite potential evals being incomplete (which I didn't)

Also, just for funzies, thought you'd be proud to know I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn with a major + minor
If you want to talk about Auburn's declining academics, I don't need no men made of straw to agree with that argument.

We don't build walls here ( except outside)

Rankings with unevaluated players are already meaningless. Based on arbitrary and capricious standards as well. Look at Eli Stove. He ended up completely falling out of the top 300 over nothing the recruiting insiders didn't already know. He was penalized for ransom shite that didn't even involve him.

So why do you care if there is a ranking discrepancy if it is meaningless

I want our kids to be ranked as high as possible. It looks better that way

What's going on in this thread?

What's going on in this thread?
-Jangalang was all upset that Barrett has a low ranking on 247
-I suggested that they may just not have finished a full eval of him and I'm okay with that before SR season starts
-He responds by saying I was using a straw man argument and that I am an embarrassment if I am an Auburn grad
-I point out that I wasn't really arguing with him just offering an alternative explanation

GC, you're such a tool. All anybody has to do is go over the last page and see how you misinterpreted and butchered the whole damn conversation. The only person that was obviously worked up over this conversation was you.

No you didn't, you dumb frick. There wasn't even any assumptions to challenge. The only thing I said was "missing camps doesn't justify a 750 point difference in rankings." That was in response to Nino, which suggested that Barrett may have a low rank on rivals due to missing their camps.

I never offered an explanation. I said recruiting rankings are laughable.

In an attempt to stop the dumbness in this thread, here's an article on Bo Jackson's nephew discussing visit & recruitment. Honestly if I was this kid I would be looking to go somewhere not instate because the shoes to fill are gigantic but it sounds like he is interested in Auburn

If he were a running back then I would agree with you fully but as a receiver you are already making a different mark.

And it's not like we expect anybody to ever perform like Bo ever again. I feel sorry for Lebron's son because he's really good for his age and may end up being really good, but even if he does, he will always be compared to his dad.

Like Octavius Mathews and Alaric Williams he's viewed as an athlete by many not a true rb.

If Alaric doesn't play RB where would he move to? Safety, LB? Where do most people think he'll end up?

Well if he goes anywhere BUT Auburn, some will say, we are screwed when we cannot get a legacy to come to Auburn.
