I think you are confusing things. The general consensus is that Bishop isn't really a great QB prospect but a much better athlete thus comments above by KN & Rusty about him being more an athlete & AU probably looking for another QB in class as well.
But that doesn't mean we aren't recruiting him as a QB. Earlier I was posting what Rusty on the 247 Dawg site said which was that AU had been chatting him up more about playing a QB and that's why we might be trending. KN has also said (literally in your post above too "a guy who would get a shot at QB, though. ") that we are going to give him a chance at QB
You are correct with your opinion matching KN's in that he is a better athlete than QB prospect. But the fact is our staff is recruiting him as a QB too

This is stupid logic when you consider the other two schools "in it" with Bishop are pro style offenses who don't value his skills at the position.
Bishop may not be a great QB for us, but you can't determine that from UF/UGA recruiting positions

Can someone explain how Brandon Martin is the "Top Juco WR" when he red shirted last year? Or did I hear that wrong?
