Just seems like a really good dude. Good get for LSU. He has the size that you need to play tackle.

LSU's recruiting in the trenches is on the upswing. 2012-2014 was rough.

Did y'all miss on some other OL targets?
I thought he had fallen down the want list due to his performance at camps.

I think he starts off at guard, he's massive and an A+ run blocker, he literally doesnt know how to pass block, which is why I think he starts off at guard, MAYBE moves to RT one day if he can pick up pass blocking well enough, but could be a great career guard in the end.
We are deep on the OL so he redshirts next season.

"Looks" like a football player.........but plays without much aggression that you would expect from someone his size. Good pickup for LSU, but wouldn't expect anything from him 1st couple of years minimum.

He's a project for sure but, it's always nice to keep the fence up around Louisiana no matter which recruit that is
This is not a Cam Robinson situation where you can plug and play

I would say he plays with a TON of aggression, not sure what film you watched. The knock on him is pass blocking, his run blocking is ridiculously good. It's all he ever did at JC.

I can see him getting his footwork improved and being a dominant RT like Hawkins was

?@rwalkeradvocate Willie Allen says Ole Miss informed him last week they were filled at tackle position.
Apparently, you can has. Our coaches seem to think we're good at OT.

Interested to see how his career plays out. For some reason I get a Greg Oden vibe from this kid. Hope that's not the case though.

Don't know why you're getting down voted, haha. This is the most realistic prognosis for him. He'll be a good one, but I don't think we'll hear his name until he's a redshirt sophomore.

Not trying to flame but I don't think you can ever have enough good OL, especially OTs. With Tunsil and Cooper both leaving, Golson having transferred, and Drew Richmond opting for UT I think that's a touch short-sighted.
With that said, Freeze certainly knows more about roster management than I ever will

I'm hoping that means we have a silent commit... I thought we were def taking 1 more OT.
ETA: Suppose I should have put a ? in my other post. I was curious why they would tell him that, and what it could mean.

Fell after camps but gained ground again with apparently an impressive senior season. His ceiling is very high
