Historic teams come and go in college football, but Alabama is beginning to feel more like air. It’s just there. All the time. And there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I enjoy these random articles from across the country bowing in submission.

This must be how Augustus felt once he consolidated power and established the Empire. Or the Palpatine.

Eventually it will end. Must be nice to enjoy the ride though.

I know that there is clinical data regarding the risks of a four erection. I've had this one for seven years and I feel fine. Should I be concerned?

What I find weird about articles like this, and I've seen several, is that they mirror the SECR mindset. That's fine for the SECR -- this site is built to troll. But actual journalists talking about 11 and 12 win seasons, or, indeed, any season without a national title, as being indisputably a failure is just ridiculous. There are 127 teams in CFB bowl series. Not a single one of them, even Bama, would consider a 12 win season with a visit to the CFP even remotely a bad season. Ranters can get away with implying that because they have other motives than journalistic integrity. But an actual newspaper columnist must realize how silly he sounds in an objective sense.

Oxygen is highly combustible, so I expect Bama to eventually turn into a dumpster fire.

Alabama is a machine. I doff my cap to college football greatness.

For the goddamn record: Nick Saban is a far more impressive coach than Bear Bryant.

Whether I should jackit to this type of article makes no sense. The fact I did makes all the sense.
