It is obvious Saban has put together a program and process that is pretty dominating once you get all the factions within a program going the same way.
It is impressive to say the least. It is by no means perfect because it can't be with so many working parts and people being human, but he has found the recipe. He has 4 and 5 stars happily waiting their turn.
I also take my hat off to Kiffin. He really has proved himself to be a top OC and can develop a QB. Saban went and hired him knowing it would be questioned and he continues to come up with the trophy.
fricking amazing really and difficult to admit my schools program is nowhere close to that type of thinking.
Love him or hate him Saban is definitely a bad arse. So congrats Bama it just seems to work out for your school. Hopefully mine can at least get back to it one day.

Im happy for the Bama kids and coaches but it would lose it's significance if it happened every year to be honest.

Thanks for the kind words bro. I truthfully was just as passionate about football when Mike Dubose was destroying what Stallings built and Mike Shula was the poster child of mediocrity as I do now that Saban is the beast that he is. It's been fun but it will end in a few years. Us gumps will still be around though. Good luck next year gator.

Stallings was far from perfect. Had he not slammed the door in the face of the NCAA when they came down after Langham signed a napkin they wouldn't have had such a hard on for The University.

Absolutely. Stallings was arrogant and condescending toward the ncaa and shite got real. I also know of conflict within the athletic department but I mainly am talking on field results as Fran and Shula are the ones that paid for infractions on the field.

You know what impresses me is that he fixed it so damn fast. We had a lot of players under Shula that had an entitlement attitude. Probably had the same issues with boosters and administrators. He processed that shite out, we went 7-6 that first year and it has been hell on wheels since then.
His plan works, but it's not just the plan. He is the perfect person to implement it.
I'm pretty sure that Kirby will try to implement the same plan at UGA. It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out there. Hope he does well.
