Okay? Spending $5,000 to make sure your DC isn't distracted from the fricking national championship seems pretty logical.

Or maybe you know, she's doing secretary work that aids in conserving Smart's time. I know Barners don't have a lot of experience using a secretary, but damn the concept is pretty straight forward.

Auburn run through the Bama meat grinder. You don't have to make that up.

Doing the right thing and honoring your commitments will go furtherq and benefit him in the long run than getting to Athens a cpl weeks sooner. Most of that time being the dead period.

I am consistently amazed at the counterpoint argument for Kirby being in Tuscaloosa right now, both by UGA fans and non UGA fans. Most are not thinking logically about what it would mean for UGA recruiting in the long run. I can promise you it means more for Kirby to walk in to a recruit and his family's living room and promise that kid that he will never leave him during his tenure, by honoring the very same commitment he made to the current players a few years prior. The short term gain Kirby would see by cutting ties and heading to Athens right away would have been minimal at best, considering how well he has put together his staff and the recruiting dead period anyway. Not to mention how much cache his name will carry going forward by being associated with helping architech one the best defenses ever fielded in College football, should they be able to polish off Clemson on Monday. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. This has been a hot topic of discussion and it benefits Kirby and Georgia in the long run. I watched the MSU game and he had on BAMA gear and he was into that game and chest bumping his players. As fans we lose focus on what those guys do. His focus is on the kids he is teaching not what fricking shirt or hat he is wearing. I think he will be a huge success at Georgia.

Right now we are looking very good for the 2016 recruiting class rankings (top 10 in some rankings), no reason to believe Kirby does not close even stronger.

The ONLY argument against him finishing Bama's season is recruiting, I'll be surprised if we get anything lower than a top 5 class in Kirby's 1st year (yes, keeping Eason was huge)

But Saban said at his news conference in Tuscaloosa this past Wednesday it’s all about making sure the Alabama players are getting every bit of commitment from Smart as they would had he not accepted the Georgia job.

Saban has to be laughing his dick off at UGA right now.

I wonder if Smart will have to get permission from Saban on who to recruit and staff hires while he is at UGA as well.

you seem bitter and conflicted

do you think Kirby will continue UGA's recent dominance over Aubbie?

No I do not. And I am happy Ritch is gone.

100% support Kirby to UGA. 110% even.
