What is your definition of mediocre?

I see the term mediocre thrown around on this board quite a bit. I'm curious as to what, in your mind, qualifies a team as mediocre? Or a player? I'll hang up and listen.

Really though, a team that doesn't win convincingly but beats bad team and loses to good teams.
