The next few days/weeks are going to be rough on anyone who is a fan on this program barring a dramatic change in the course of events.

Kevin Sumlin has been delicately balancing a house of cards for about 18 months and Kyler leaving is the piece that will cause it to fall. Calls are being made, bridges are being burned and every skeleton in the closet is about to come out.

I was told emphatically to not expect Sumlin here next year if Kyler leaves.

Well, you've got your work cut out for you. Because it's gonna take a lot to shock me at this point. Donald Trump riding high in the polls, two A&M QBs leaving in a week, etc. I feel like I've seen it all, at this point.

So your source is saying almost certainly that Sumlin will be gone? Greater than 75% chance?

And that might not even be the worst of it

The worst case scenario is that Sumlin sticks around as a lame duck dragging down our recruiting for multiple cycles.

If y'all end up with Tom Herman, that could be the best thing to happen, and the worst thing for Texas.

Even if Kyler stays I don't know how they put the toothpaste back in the tube here. ALOT of bridges were burned with the fanbase today.

Sumlin isn't going anywhere. Everyone needs to stop with the rumor mills and let this play out. No serious program fires their coach over the decision of a couple of student athletes.
