Pruitt's career path is an obtuse triangle of indecision.

Who knows if we would have even had the choice, but new coaches typically want their own staff.

By all accounts, Pruitt has a sizable ego and out-sized ambition. Don't blame a first-time HC not wanting to deal with that while learning on the job. Especially an HC that already specializes in what Pruitt brings to the table. Saban (and even Richt) is much better equipped to keep him on a leash.

For real though, some of y'all need to realize there was a reason kirby was at bama and Pruitt wasn't. Bama is at a very high level already. Will be interesting to see if defense is truly plug and play like many have insinuated.

Well Lane has cost you one national title already. Seems to have learned his lesson though.

Well, he's the only offensive coordinator we've had under Saban to deliver back to back SEC Championships.

Lane was also the reason we were even in that game to begin with. So there's that.

I guess you dance with the one who brung ya.

Although if Henry is not fed steadily during the MSU game I bet heads will explode.
