UF and Alabama only have 2 possible bowl destinations each....
if bama wins they go to playoffs, if bama lose they go to peach bowl
If UF wins they go to sugar bowl, if UF lose they to citrus bowl.
It really is as simple as that for the top 2.

Why/how does the Birmingham Bowl still exist?

Arkansas will be in Memphis.

Ole Miss isn't going to the Sugar, they're going Cotton.
Florida is going to the Sugar Bowl. They have the head-to-head

LSU vs Michigan would be interesting too, although I'm not excited to have Les Miles in the headlines again.
Would be awesome considering we have never played them.
We might get crushed though.

LSU will play Michigan in the Citrus Bowl
A quick review of most current projections has LSU anywhere but this game. Only bowl for LSU predicted more than once among this limited, unscientific sample is the Taxslayer (Gator?).

If 'Bama goes to the playoff as expected, the Sugar Bowl is supposed to take the highest-ranked SEC team. That will be Ole Miss somewhere between #12 and #15. Florida will have lost two in a row. Ole Miss will have won two in a row. Ole Miss has been to 8 Sugar Bowls with a 5-3 record and always brings something like 40 to 50,000 fans to New Orleans. Long-time favorite trip of Rebel fans. They'll fill the hotel rooms and restaurants. Florida--not so much. Both teams will have three losses, but Ole Miss will have the better metrics (#9 Sagarin Rating)and the momentum. And a hella lot better offense to watch play someone like Baylor. Ole Miss vs. Baylor is the call here for the Sugar Bowl match-up. Florida will be in the Citrus.

Nothing is locked up according to this but it is being talked about (LSU vs Michigan in Citrus).

Cotton is a playoff game this year, so no Ole Miss there

UF is going to the Citrus Bowl. After Bama beats us Saturday. It's happening

I want to see Arkansas v Wisconsin in a bowl. Not liking who will end up in the Liberty Bowl as an opponent.

Aggy will take it since they won't have to play Daddy Texas.
Yes, and that sucks. I think I speak for all Aggies when I say I'd much rather A&M play a 4-8 Texas team than one of the many teams who beat them. If only they were eligible! Drat!

8-4 teams not named Missouri will not be selected below teams with lesser records. Same with 9-3 teams.

Arkansas is going to the Liberty Bowl and either playing Kansas State, Texas Tech or WVU.
