I'd be surprised if Citrus didn't go after Florida (unless they make it to the Sugar) seeing as their right there in Florida.

The Texas Bowl will get a SEC team before Birmingham/Shreveport FWIW.

Aggy will take it since they won't have to play Daddy Texas.

SEC

If No. 1 isn’t in College Football Playoff

1. Allstate Sugar Bowl
2. Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl vs. Big Ten No. 2

The conference will assign teams to the respective bowls in this pool
Outback Bowl vs. Big Ten No. 3
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten
TaxSlayer Bowl vs. ACC or Big Ten
AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. Big 12
AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl vs. Big 12
Belk Bowl vs. ACC

Next Tier
Birmingham Bowl vs. American
Independence Bowl vs. ACC

Arkansas does not qualify for a tier 1 one bowl. The Citrus Bowl can only chose Florida or LSU.

The other bowls are chosen to maximize viewership.

I don't think UF would lose out on the Citrus over Arky

Kentucky will go to Independence now that Mizzou has bailed, but Bham wants Auburn and Aubie fans would probably be OK with that after this season

This is one thing I'm actually grateful for. It brings back the one aspect that the BCS killed that was pretty cool about the bowls, getting to see intriguing match-ups that people wanted to see that you normally woudn't.

Personally I'd like to see Arkansas in the Music City Bowl against Louisville. It'd be epic.

We can assume Ohio St. and the loser of the Big 10 champ game will get at large bids into the 2nd tier of cfp bowls.

Texas Bowl cant be A&M or none b/c the Texas Bowl is ahead of the Independence and Birmingham in the selection process.
