Between LSU and Georgia, which is the best job?

I'd say it's a tossup. It's like comparing apples and apples.

About the same. Not much of a difference other than LSU having recent success. Both are fertile recruiting grounds.
More leeway at UGA.

I would give UGA a light edge because the East is easier and they're will to tolerate good but not great for much longer.

With the LSU job comes LSU fans so I'd have to say UGA

About the same.
Historically about the same in terms of success. Similar advantages in recruiting. Right now, the East is down so Georgia has an easier path to the title game, but that can change in a few years.

The question you're asking is it better to lose to bama in the SECCG or regular season.

UGA can dominate the east easier than LSU can the west.
LSU is the better brand at the moment but your life is easier at UGA.

LSU just because of a lack of instate competition. Both are great jobs though.

Georgia because of in state talent and how weak the East is now

Both are second tier but LSU is ahead of Georgia

The thing about Georgia's in state talents is there's like 5-6 major programs with a 2-3 hour drive of the major production areas. LSU shares the (loyal) state to itself and the only programs close to the border like that are Ole Miss and Mississippi state. LSU is also very close to Houston, and only one SEC program poaches talent from there as often as LSU.
In terms of Geogrpahic footprint, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, UGA, Alabama, South Carolina all try and set up shop in Georgia. This also isn't counting Clemson and Florida State. Yes it's talented, but that's a lot of competition that relies on one state. Yes teams still recruit Louisiana, but really only one school "relies" on it.

Georgia by a mile. The HS in state talent in GA is 10000000 times better than Louisiana

It realistically can't and that's what makes it frustrating. You have Vandy, Mizzou, USCe (without a HoF coach), and Kentucky. Yes, I think UGA, UF and UT can all rival LSU, Bama and Auburn but that bottom half isn't on the same level as the bottom half of the west. The East bottom might not even rival any P5 conference. This conference is in desperate need of realignment.

I really want to say this is a troll attempt.

The East was better than the West for like the first 15 years of division alignment

UGA and it's not even close.
