Dabo is the ultimate choker. He and Clemson can't win the BIG games. They invariable lose to ranked opponents or to 1 or 2 teams they should easily beat every year. That's why they're never in the National Championship Picture.

Here's Dabo's record of chokes since taking over is 2008:

2008 He coached 6 games after taking over for Tommy Bowden and lost to #22 FSU and Nebraska in the Bowl game.
2009 He lost to #15 Ga Tech, #15 TCU, South Carolina and again to #10 Ga Tech in the CCG.
2010 He lost #16 Auburn, #16 Miami, North Carolina, BC, FSU, #18 South Carolina and lowly USF in some crappy BowlGame.
2011 He lost to Ga Tech, NC State, #12 South Carolina, and #23 West Virginia
2012 He lost to #4 FSU and #12 South Carolina.
2013 He lost to #5 FSU and #10 South Carolina.
2014 He lost to #12 Georgia, #1 FSU, and #22 Ga Tech.

Dabo and Clemson ain't beatin Alabama or anybody else in any Playoff Game. Dabo is a CHOKER.

eta- Dabo has ZERO chance of ever getting the Alabama job.

Clemson beat Ohio State and Oklahoma back-to-back years in bowl games. Don't underestimate them.

But since you did this thread, that idiot Clemson fan will come out and tell everyone how Syracuse would win the SEC.

I wish Baylor had survived for the same reason I that Clemson does not scare me near as much as OSU. I will admit that OSU is nowhere near as hungry as last year. But worry not sports fans, it is almost showtime.

Are you intentionally leaving out big games that he's won? Like LSU, UGA, ND, FSU, OK, OSU, Auburn? He can win big games

Clemson is #1 and if you're #1, then I think you're a threat to any football team that doesn't have a GM.

Clemson has beat Virgnia Tech twice in same season when they went to a BCS bowl game, LSU, Ohio State, Auburn twice, UGA, Notre Dame, FSU twice, Oklahoma and don't lose to unranked teams under Dabo. 35 wins in a row over unranked teams. longest streak in the nation

you can go back several seasons when our defense wasn't very good but it is irrelevant to this years team. We have the the best QB in the country and top shelf WRs and a RB who runs harder than Henry.

your team lost to Ole Miss at home. Your team squeaked out a win over a soft Tenn team at home.

yet you claim Bama will beat Clemson despite the fact Bama has not faced an elite QB and offense this year.

last few years Bama has lost most of their big games including to two teams OSU and Oklahoma that Clemson dominated in adjacent eyars.

all i know is if I was a coach and I could pick either Watson or Coker to be my QB in the playoffs.

i'm picking Watson.

lol Coker can't get it done on the biggest stage, you'll see.

Any team is a threat these days. All it takes is for your team to be complacent, and the other team hungry.

They have the talent to beat Alabama but that defense needs to get their shite together. They may not beat UNC.

Have you watched Clemson this season? Yes, they are a threat. That's a damn good football team and can give a game to anyone in the country. They may lose in the playoffs or perhaps to NC, games are games after all, but right now they deserve the #1 ranking.

Clemson is most definitely capable of beating Bama. They have a good mobile QB, good skill players and a good enough defense. There's not a team that might make the playoffs that wouldn't give Bama a tough game, with the possible exception of Okie Light. That said, with our defense, Bama will be a tough out for anyone as well.
