Henry didn't play against Bama, but yeah. He ran for 12 YPC and more yards in 3 quarters than your current Heisman favorite did in every game this season except for A&M, a team Fournette hasn't had the privilege of facing yet. He had muliple, explosive gamebreaking runs.

I'm just yanking chains. But the fact is Henry is the favorite right now. If he keeps it up against State, AU and Florida and Bama wins the SEC, it will be hard not to give it to him. It will be interesting to watch it play out.

I think the likes of Vegas and sports illustrated are less biased than you when it comes to this. do you think Henry isn't going to continue putting up gaudy numbers down the stretch? or that he won't get a bump for playing for a team likely headed to the playoffs? that's how this award works. always been that way.
the problem for fournette is he doesn't have a game like this weekend's left on the schedule. this was the defining game of his season and he absolutely shat his pants. and even worse, Henry ran for 215 and 3 td on the same field. the contrast was obvious. you are absolutely nuts if you don't think this will hurt his campaign, maybe even ruin it.

I've said he should be the favorite right now. That should change if Fournette continues to outperform him though.
I agree that it will be fun to watch unfold.

Say they have the same stats the rest of the way. Either would be deserving.

Henry does lead in rushing touchdowns.
Edit: And consecutive games with a TD

Which RB would you rather have on your favorite NFL team?

He's put up gaudy numbers in only 3 games this season. So, I think he will continue to put up 5.5-6 YPC, like he has all season, which will not lead to "gaudy" numbers.

Tim Tebow - No title
Robert Griffin - No title
Johnny Manziel - No title
I could keep going...
It's not a team award.

This is how I know you have no clue what you're talking about.
Carry on.

has nothing to do with the heisman.

thing is, none of those players ever no showed in the biggest game of their careers. in fact most of them showed out.

Johnny Manziel no showed in games against LSU and Florida in 2012.
Keep talking out of your arse.

If he outproduces Henry for the remainder of the season you would have to be naive to think the voters would give Henry the trophy because of one game.
Did you just start watching CFB because Suh jumped into the picture because of his last game against Texas in their championship game.

The Nebraska defensive tackle in one night went from Heisman dark horse to fast-finishing finalist and might have shaken the big bronze statue loose from Colt McCoy's grasp as he was tossing the Texas quarterback around Cowboys Stadium.
So yes a big game makes a difference. Especially one that has so much riding on the line. RGIII even lost 3 games but still had huge numbers in each of those 3 losses.

he also had a legendary performance beating Alabama on the road that year which was the biggest game of his career. exactly my point.

Henry would win it.
I said in another thread that Fournette need 500 yards and 5 TDs in the last 3. He also needs Henry to have at least 1 subpar performance of less than 100 yards and 1 TD.

To be fair, we could have had Adrian Peterson in our backfield Saturday night, it wouldn't have mattered. Bama's front 7 dominated our line. There was no where to run.

It all depends if LSU wins out and he rushes for over a hundred each game. I hope LSU wins out and he does win the Heisman. BUT if he doesn't win it this year I'm not too upset about it because he can come back hungrier next year.

I'm not even arguing that it's fair, just that these kinds of things matter are often decisive when it comes to the heisman.

Your point is stupid, which is my point.
The heisman has never been won or lost because of one bad game. That is just a fact that you clearly cannot comprehend.
