Brian Kelly is basically Les Miles 2.0.
Even after 2011 les Miles went 11 and 10 versus top 25 and eight and seven when they were the higher ranked team. Still a winning record in both categories. Brian Kelly can’t say that.

In Brian Kelly’s entire coaching career he never had a winning record against top 25 teams or top 10 teams and only went 18-14 when he had the better team

Brian Kelly is used to having to recruit kids who are academically eligible for Notre Dame. He is not used to going after the big fish in the recruiting rankings.

If I was a HS recruit in Louisiana and didn’t grow up a die hard LSU fan I would get the hell out of Louisiana too and go somewhere else, maybe in Texas or Florida

Because it seem like in the 2000s to about 2015, us fans would go in thinking LSU will dominate but lately there’s been more worry for the first game

LSU is 0-3 in its last 3 opening games. LSU used to dominate openers against good teams like VaTech, Oregon, Miami, TCU and North Carolina.

Exactly. There’s no 240lb FB in todays game to block you. Your LBs just need to be bigger than their RBs so a 220lb LB will be fine if not better because they are faster

I always pull for the underdog if I don’t have a dog in the fight and CU was the underdog and they fought. Huge congrats to them and watching their interview on the field after the game with Prime, his son and Travis Hunter, how could you not want to pull for these guys to have success.
