Did nobody honestly expect this?
This is one of the top coaches in the country taking his 4th year veteran team that's played together for a very long time on the road against a team that has an empty and injury depleted roster.

That's got nothing to do with not running any semblance of an offense, playing no defense and turning it over 15 times. They're faceguarding us 98% of the time, and we've gone backdoor ONE time.
Yeah, South Carolina is deeper, more experienced and should beat us. But they were up 18 at one point that half. They're not THAT good.

This really is my biggest pet peeve that Bruce has to get corrected. Teams just do whatever they want on offense.

Hell as bad as we played that half I will take down 13. Don't get me started on shitty officials either. If we don't turn it over and brown can hit his 3s we got a chance. Almost forgot lock Bowers in locker room at half.

This is what happens when you have tired guys who are in their first year.
Gutsy hard nosed guys normally get that way with experience, understandi g the system and maturity.

Brown is on fire this half but we haven't gotten him the ball in the last few trips

Yep if they get the ball down low it will either result in a made shot, foul, or missed shot with them getting the offensive rebound.

The whole, "If we drive Harris is wide open underneath" seems so obvious yet we have run it maybe 5x all year

Auburn basketball is just incapable of being fundamentally sound. No coach has been able to do it
