Time to bring in the quick fix guy for a one year run at glory, then back to usual....or worse.
Or keep the slow fix guy so that he gets nothing done except winning the SEC a decade ago. Surly that is the best course of action.

Richt is never gonna get them to the top.. It really just depends on how much mediocrity the fans are willing to deal with...

Did you get tired of being turned down by your sister already?

Mark Richt has been at uga...FOREVER...and UGA has not come close to sniffing a national championship. I think if UGA has one more bad year like this they will part ways.

I can understand why some Georgia fans want to fire Richt. If you're a good coach, it's easy to win 10 games at Georgia. What fans always fail to understand is that good coaches aren't easy to find.
LSU has done very well with Saban and Miles, even though Miles has his critics. Florida has mostly done well, despite the Zook and Muschamp eras. But look at the lengthy stretch for Alabama before Saban. Look at Nebraska. At Arkansas, we've spent the last 40 years looking for a replacement for Frank Broyles.
Georgia can do better then Richt, but will they? Or will they go back to the days when winning 10 games is a huge accomplishment, again? If I'm a Georgia fan, I'm not sure I want to take that risk.

The Bulldog mantra.
This is a loser mentality, bro.

Mark Richt is successful?

Yeah totally. Just a Mark Richt fan, not an UGA fan... good one
Here comes the comeback...well if you were an UGA fan you'd want him fired.
So what do you think of Richt's command decision to bring in Brian Schottenheimer?
Nine quarters without a touchdown and counting.

All Mark has done is consistently win 10 games, sometimes a little more and sometimes a little less.
Yeah sometimes a little less ...like 6-7 in 2010? Come on. UGA has had great recruiting classes every single year and yet couldnt win big.
I know Richt appears beaten down now and he is ready to quit probably....he may have already had private talks with AD & the administration about an exit strategy. This is going to be a real chaotic December/January when all the coaching changes are taking place....rumor city. Schools needing HCs better get ducks in a row cause they will get leftovers real quick. Agents are working overtime with back room deals on both ends of departures and hired HCs.

Please keep Richt. He's got a good twenty years left.

UGA is a tipped pass away from winning it in 2012.

No shite! Notre Dame wasn't stopping UGA either that year. What could have been.

His own success was 10 years ago. Let me put it another way, Richt hasn’t won a big game since 2005. How old were you at that time? What has changed in your life since then? Now tell me what has changed about UGA?.....
The program is stale and has underachieved on the national stage. Any coach could win 8 games at UGA, it takes a great one to challenge the likes of Alabama at the top.

If Les Miles had not won a national title and competed for another do you think LSU retains him despite his winning percentage?
Posted on 11/3/15 at 7:28 am to DawgNation4
Hey man, it's not 2005, but rather 2015. Check our our results since we beat Lsu in 2005. Not pretty.

UGA really is more of a 8-9 win team that has been greatly aided by the demise of UT and later UF. Grade inflation. Something the state of Georgia knows a lot about.
I don't blame CMR for that though. I think you blame the fans. Why? Because it's fun.

I don't want to try and get in the minds of LSU fans and predict what they would have done about anything. There are just some adventures I don't want to go on.

I love reading these threads about UGA and hearing how the fans are happy with mediocrity. Like we fricking have control over what the school and AD does with our football program.
Some of you are fricking retarded.
IMO most other schools should thank their fricking lucky stars UGA has kept Richt as underachieving as he is.
