Not only that but they don't change the play calling at all to take advantage of his legs.

I expected at least one touchdown after a BYE week.

Schotty has been terrible, I agree. He needs to go.
that 3rd and 1 with only 2 routes and both of them going 20+ yards down field might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Mason = 4 ints in one season.
Bauta = 4 ints in one game.
Hate to break it to the Bauta apologists, but Bauta has had a horrible game. Worse, by far, than anything Lambert did, including the Bama game.
Just some truth, is all.

So does anyone seriously think next season is going to be any different tan the last 3 counting this one?

4 picks
Worst offense Richt has ever fielded. Great hire, man.

Poor Bauta with those INTs. Dude must have cracked a mirror and run over a black cat this week.
Still, sports media is going to be all over Richt for putting Bauta in this situation and leaving his 7 game starter on the bench in a huge game.

Why did Richt stay with Lambert last week and why did he stay with Bauta today. I have no clue what this head coach is doing...

The media is right. Our defense could've kept us in the game if our offense hadn't shite the bed so much.
I think Lambert would've given us a much better chance in this game. Much better.

quote:See, I disagree. Bauta hasn't been outstanding by any measure but those 4 picks are more on our bad receivers and Florida's excellent defense than on him making bad decisions or terrible throws. He's made some bad throws, but Florida made some outstanding plays by being where they needed to be when our receivers couldn't come down with the ball.

Bauta...he may be our best QB.he may have had no help from his receivers....I don't know..but he's not fit to start at the University of Georgia...end disscussion...

I wouldn't criticize CMR for leaving Bauta in all game so much as I would for leaving him in all game and not changing our strategy on offense. Having a mobile QB isn't worth a frick if you're going to keep him in the pocket all game. Frick read options, frick bootlegs, let's just keep banging our head against the wall.

Stop making sense, Foo. All anyone is looking at is the 4 in the INT column. Doesn't matter to anyone WHY the INT's happen...its all Bautas fault no matter what. I think Lambert would have been as bad or worse.
Keep Bauta...let him grow up.

not true at all. LAmbert could have multple 3+int games if the defenses catch balls thrown right at them. Bauta had 3 balls tipped/dropped for picks, and one was due to miscommunication on the route. Not every interception is the QB fault. dont be dense.
With all things considered (defense, poor o-line play, etc) Bauta had our best game at QB this year.

All of those things are true r&b...but, if hes the best option we have, whos fault is that?

yeah cause he does so well against good defenses. Wuld have loved to see him back pedaling and throwing off his backfoot all day. Bauta played well enough for us to win if the receivers and o-line would have executed like FBS players.
