At this point ... I'm just ready for the season to get over with ... never thought I would say that ...

Very comical at this point.
Well wish I could say it was a good season buutttttttt
Richt made his bed by not recruiting good qbs since Murray left. Now is time to sleep in it.
Funny how some people thought this would be a play off team.
We never will be as long as Richt is there.

I actually feel bad for Bauta. He's played with more fire than either Ramsey or Lambert but he has no help at all.

I dont understand the love for Faton. He's a fricking scrub and it's obvious why he was 3rd string IMO.

Agree. I want him to start the rest of the year and be given an honest shot next season.

And finally the defense breaks. Bad.
This game needs to end.
This game needs to end.

Remember when everybody wanted Bauta because he makes good decisions?
he has made good decisions. Minus that derp throw that got dropped. Yeah it shows 3 ints in the box score, but you could argue all 3 werent his fault. Poor route from Isiah, who I dont think has seen the field since, dude hit his arm on the second, and the 3rd int was just another tipped ball that UF caught. He's played better than Lambert. IF you look back at Lambert, he could have had 5-6 more interceptions than he already does, but the D has dropped them.
BAuta didnt lose this game for us. Special teams, turnovers, and a bad o-ine killed us. Plus a couple of bad coaching decisions.

He is now worse than Lambert but he shouldn't be starting in the SEC......

I'm on the fire schotty train. 52 points against USC and now we can't score a touchdown in two games.

Did anyone really expect a different outcome?
Posted on 10/31/15 at 5:57 pm to GoldenDawg
So... the Falcons and Hawks should be decent this year. That's something.

I feel the same. They gave the guy no shot at any meaningful playing time for the entire time he's been here, presumably because he doesn't have NFL arm strength. Then after the Lambert experiment didn't work and Ramsey was a complete bust, they throw Bauta in at the 8th game of the season against a good defense. With UGA having no running game to lean on, either.
In my view, Bauta gave it his best shot. But he had little help from anyone around him...especially receivers dropping sure TD passes.
The fact that Bauta even started and played this entire game says something about the sorry state of the program.

He is way more comfortable in the pocket than Lambert and makes better decisions than both Rmasey and Lambert. His only bad read was the one the guy dropped when we kicked the FG. Other than that he has looked good. and I agree with HRD, he should start the rest of our games.
