except for there will not be any plays where your players have been sprinting down the field towards LF fielding a kickoff...

Wat?

It's a nice hit but it came at the end of regulation when the clock was clearly going to run out barring some kind of miracle kick return for a touchdown.

The game was lost when we got the ball after Yeldon's fumble and we subsequently failed to punch it in. That was the moment we lost momentum. Couple that with our dumbass kicker knocking it out of bounds on the kickoff and Chavis letting y'all drive the field with ease and the wheels were coming off long before Fournette got trucked on a kickoff return that was extremely unlikely to matter anyway.

All you have to do is watch the players reactions from both sides to realize how important it was.

I remember that game. Our noodle-armed QB and mostly freshman offense took your CFP team to OT. Seems like we are a little better than last year. Should be a fun game, many crying Bama frat boys will be seen.

This cost LSU the momentum in the overtime last year.

Let's try that again.

You're right. They aren't voting. CBS sportswriters 8 out of 8 Fournette. ESPN sportswriter poll 10 out 10 Fournette. Sports Illustrated 10 of 10 Fournette. Each member polled was a member of the Heisman media voter committee consisting of 870 votes. One member stated, "and its not even close".

Your right, they aren't voting yet.

Bama fans are going to be so hilarious when they're cheering every single tackle made on Fournette like they just won the NC.

I thought it was going to be a video of the BS personal foul penalty, but I was wrong, just as you are wrong about this tackle changing momentum in the game.

Hey bama1959, you could have made that tackle or could have been returning the kickoff if you were not so busy playing in the band or wearing the cheerleader outfit

That's the guy that had to be taught not to lead with his head for a while, right? I remember him looking like he was going to break his own neck tackling like that last season.

Video evidence says you are full of shite:

LINK

Of course the Bama players are hyped about the hit on Fournette but I see absolutely zero in the reaction of LSU's players that show that hit *in and of itself* somehow changed the momentum.

The momentum change you saw had far more to do with this sequence of events:

1) LSU failing to punch it in after Yeldon's huge gift
2) Domingue's idiotic kick out of bounds
3) Bama getting in field goal range with 50 seconds and zero time outs

But hey, why let the facts get in the way of what seemed like a clever troll in your head. Ooh, somebody hit Fournette on a kickoff return that was going nowhere with no time left in regulation. That hit really changed the game, no?

Leonard Fournette cannot be tackled and LSU is an unbeatable football machine.

Game was lost when your classy fans were chanting "frick you Saban" while one of your own LSU players was down.

God don't like ugly.
