Clearly, no. frick that. But apparently a lot of dumb fricks on the 247 site are saying "oh, that would be fun to watch! I'd love that!" It's the god damn Liberty Bowl. There is literally no such thing as a good match up in that shite-arse bowl. Our fan base is just a microcosm of why I feel that I will die without ever seeing us win a National Title. Half of our fan base is content with going to the Liberty Bowl. It blew my mind.

Since Florida is the only team that should be a big threat to us I say no.

Of course the liberty isn't first choice but I'm not going to attend regardless, so I'd rather watch them play Texas than Nebraska or Wisconsin or some shite like that again.

So we can wax nostalgic for a full fricking month about that time we upset Texas on a Lastinger bootleg?

Nah, I'm good.

There is a pretty good chance I will be in New Mexico during bowl season so I am pulling for the Gildan Bowl in Albuquerque. It is supposed to be the. Mountain West versus Conference USA but since we look a lot like a team that would do pretty good in either conference........there is a Waffle House in the ABQ so any fighting that needs to be taken care of is good to go.....

We could easily end up in either one of those bowls

honestly? I would not mind drawing TX for a bowl. We could beat them and I would love to even our record against ALL the schools that have an edge on us

but it's not time to talk about this. We haven't lost to the Gators yet.

Best thing about Abq is you can get some of the best Mexican food there north of the border.

May be spending the holidays there. We bought a small place there a few years ago where we plan to retire some day and I have a bunch of honey-dos to get done. Not in the ABQ though but in the SE corner of the state. Still closer than Munich though....

If any of you have never been the New Mexico it is a gorgeous place...not so much in the area where we are but I bought the place because of the warmer weather and the bird hunting. Believe it or not New Mexico is a duck hunting paradise and there are more quail there than there was in SW Georgia when there were still quail in SW Georgia....and there is a bumper crop of Scaley's in SE New Mexico this year!

Also the easiest Turkey hunting you can find anywhere. The Merriams will come running to the god awfullest calling you can imagine and they are thick in the right habitat and about 90% of the land in New Mexico is open to the public. The Rio Grandes are about as hard to call as the Eastern variety.

Big Game hunting in New Mexico is prohibitively expensive and not as well managed as Colorado....

ABQ is a pretty decent city. New Mexico is a strange place though....definitely has not been homogenized like the southeast.
