What about Mangino he's at ISU right now?

His name came up when Mizzou hired Henson. The common sentiment was he wouldn't come here because of his time at kansas. Just peoples general sentiment.

If you go with a new OC I would look at someone from the Urban Myer tree.

If you keep Henson, we need to send him to Houston to learn from their HC, and to Green Bay.

Have to learn to use the short passing game, and the middle of the field.

You lose a huge part of the fan base including me, this type of ineptitude cannot be supported. Answer me what other SEC team minus Vandy would ever put up with what we have seen on the offensive side of the ball this year. If this is not fixed we are setting up for dark ages part 2.

Pinkel has never fired an assistant. We have to at least be aware that he may not fire Henson.

He's not firing anybody.

Guarantee it.

Im encouraged by the fact that after 2012 we lost Yost. So there is some precedent. I don't believe for a second that he just chose to move on to something different, then took another football job.

The DC before Stec left to be a NFL LB coach in a similar way.

Don't think he will fire Henson. Ricker? Maybe

Maybe they need to move Henson from coaching TEs this year, to back to co-coaching the line with Ricker.

Ricker is one of the better recruiters on the staff.

Well, I'm not sure I care if by "one of the better recruiters" you mean the guy who's been bringing in the guys that currently suck.

I just can't wrap my head around how horrible the coaching has got to be to take kids who were somewhat talented coming out of high school and turn them into the worst players in the nation. Talk about doing the opposite of what the D coaches are doing. These guys coming in might have been over rated, but no way were they the worst football recruits in the nation at the D1 level. But they now are the worst football players in the nation on the D1 level. Offense of course.

What ever it is, it's not working. My worry is wondering if GP has backup from higher up. Will or does someone step in and shake him back to the reality of what is not happening with the offense.

Well, it's certainly a big test for our new AD. He's the one that will have to work with Pinkel on changes, and I'm hoping he has more chest than Alden did on these matters.

Who? The seniors aren't producing, Ricker didn't recruit them. He's only been at Mizzou for a year and a half.

Look at the guys coming out of Texas. That's in large part due to Ricker.

Kevin Johns at IU would be a nice hire I think.

I'm sure we could find another coach to grab developmental 3 stars out of Texas...

It's been basically 3 years since Mizzou pulled in prospects out of Texas Ricker & the new Safteys coach are the primary Texas recruiters.

I don't give a shite where he's pulling kids out of. We should be able to find a recruiter for an OL coach who can also coach. This line is senior laden and has 2 guys who most seem to think will play on Sundays. I want a guy who can recruit a bit but just as importantly can coach.

I am just tired of seeing the faces or our OLinemen. In other words, tired of them not even making an effort to block, having the DL blow buy them and then having them go "Oh shite" as they turn to run after them before the level Lock. From the camera angle from behind, I should only see their backs, never their faces.

Yeah after what I have seen from an AJ Ricker coached O-line I'd take just about anybody right now over this clown. Henson and Ricker are on the hot seat but honestly as much as people want Henson gone I think AJ Ricker is the bigger problem right now. He has to go. AJ Ricker only got this job because he is a former player and Alum and nothing more. He barley had any experience coaching at the D-1 level before he got hired here. He has proven to me this year that he is in way over his head and doesn't have the first clue at how to coach up an O-line. This was clearly a bust hire and we need to move on.
