What does "turn around" mean?
You need about 4-5 years to know whether a football coach is going to succeed (even if it hasn't actually happened yet). Basketball takes half as long.
After two years you should know if you've got a good or bad basketball coach....

I just don't like his style of basketball. I like winning, but I prefer to win in a wide open style rather than a meat grinder....

Sure, it doesn't help.
But Mizzou fans are pretty good for their position. Not many fanbases have been kicked in the nuts repeatedly like Mizzou has. I think the support for Mizzou is really good in context....

A "reasonable" coach reinserts Geist back into the game before Illinois builds the lead back up again.
A "reasonable" coach plays KJ Walton more than three minutes.
A "reasonable" coach keeps CVL primarily on the bench ...
