We've had a thread about the awards but I didn't see anything about the conference poll

Vandy will be legit. I think the Bears will finish fifth or sixth. We are usually good for that. Tennessee at 12 is surprising.

I think 5 is sliiiightly generous for us after losing Thornton and Nemi. Those are 2 huge pieces to replace. Our guard play should be terrific, and Maten at the 5 should improve in his 2nd year, but we've got to find some wings.
I wouldnt' be surprised to see us finish anywhere from 3rd to 11th.

We'll have our bumps along the way. SEC will be much tougher this year.

State will be higher than 8th.

Looks good to me. LSU could be anywhere from 1-4 if Epps and Victor step up in the post.

Yep. I think that's the biggest story this season. How much better the SEC has gotten. We really have at least 5 tournament teams and probably 6 since Ole miss will somehow find a way like always

I, for one, love preseason lists. It's always interesting to see who falters and who overachieves.
Please note, by no means do I think we'll fit the latter category. I'll be rooting for them but would literally be shocked if we ended up even in the top half of the conference and did well enough for an nit invite.

The Watkins curse was broken in year 2 of Kennedy when we lost in Arkansas.

Auburn will be better than most think. IMO Bruce will go full Butch Jones in his interviews about our youth, but this is the most talented team we've had in 10 years.
