Ok, since the previous thread melted into unrecognizable mush, let's try this again.

First a question:

Is there any scuttlebutt or news about Kyle Allen's shoulder?

Just saw alaka is out for the season so don't count on him. No clue what happened to White, pay boards had hinted at him and noil returning last week and only speedy played.

What's this on Allen's shoulder? Just speculation or was anything concrete talked about? Are we just looking for an excuse for 3 pick sixes?

Nothing mentioned. Just going off him having it looked at during Bama and the fact he seemed to be favoring it a bit late in the game.

The sophomore, who had been playing incredibly well so far this season, threw three interceptions to the Crimson Tide, all of which were returned for touchdowns.

On top of that, he suffered an injury that appeared to be to his shoulder.

Fans wondered about Allen's status for this coming weekend's game at Ole Miss but offensive coordinator Jake Spavital says he will be the Aggies' quarterback for the contest.

"He's dinged up, I think everybody saw that," Spavital said. "He's going to get as much treatment as possible and he'll be ready for Ole Miss."

Spavital was certainly disappointed with the performance on Saturday but says Allen has not let it get him too down and the quarterback should be mentally prepared to move on from it.

"I talked to him after the game," Spavital said. "I told him not to let this define him...I told him that on Sunday someone was going to throw three interceptions and then Peyton Manning went out and did it.

"He's not going to dwell on it. He's going to put it behind him."

That is a pretty good line.

Offensive line coach Matt Luke has been demoted to an off-field position, effective immediately. Head coach Hugh Freeze has not yet announced Luke's interim replacement but an announcement is expected in the next few days.

He might be a shitty OL coach, but losing a coach mid year is never a good thing.

Don't ever wish injuries to another team, but this should help our line get more pash rush and maybe even help stop the run.

I get the gesture, but that's not really a good line. He basically just told him its OK to suck from time to time.

Eli Manning sucks every now and then. He can put godly numbers one week and then look like a rookie the next. Not exactly the person we should try to mold Allen after.

Try again Spavital.

Even the greats have bad days from time to time. The important part is they bounce back from it. That's what he's imparting to Kyle with that line. And it's accurate.

No, he didn't. Kyle is perfectly aware that it's not good to throw three picks. There was zero reason for Spav to try to reinforce that understanding.

There was, however, a need to keep Kyle from thinking that because he threw three picks in one game, he actually isn't a good QB who can win a big game.

A lot of melting Ags need to hear this message, maybe more than Kyle himself, apparently.

Is that really what you took from that?

I mean it's a pretty meaningless comparison. He might as well have said the New England Patriots lost a game by 18 points once so our team shouldn't get down.

Yes, a future first ballot HOFer with a resume longer than a Kenyan's dick threw the same number of picks as Kyle Allen. Clearly both are good QBs who has bad days...

Yea, I'm sticking w/my original assessment that you would be locker room poison.

All I know is there will be some major crow to eat across the board with a win or loss. I can't wait for the game this Saturday. The ark will be crazy fun.

For me, I'm not melting, I've said all year we are meh. We are out performing my expectations except when we play good teams.
