That's a lot of typing to make useless points.
You do realize that Bama could give the woulda coulda shoulda of ALL 3 losses, if not Every loss Bama has had to any team, to LSU.
And I don't even have to resort to your expected ref complaints.

nice thread.. this is always the game of the year

Bama kept trotting out and obviously-rattled Jeremy Shelley who managed to miss 3 first half FGs and the final dagger in OT. This left LSU in the driver's seat, and Bama was left looking in.
Jeremy Shelly should sue you for slander.
Hell, that's not enough. Jeremy Shelly should hunt you down and run over your dog.
Daring to insult the short-ranged but utterly reliable Jeremy Shelley by confusing him with Cade Foster - who was the one missing all the FGs in the 9-6 game - is danged near a capital offense.

Not if Bama loses to LSU then beats A&M. Bama still would have won the west and would have still faced 1 loss Georgia with the winner going on to beating ND.

Oh crap...that's right.
I need to make the correction.

If LSU beats Bama they finish the regular season 11-1. 1 loss at UF. LSU represents the West in Atlanta.
To the UGA fan prior, we had tall defensive ends as well, we surely would have tipped Murray's last pass.

True, if you still beat Ole Miss and Arkansas. Both were close games. LSU was better than both, but they were better than Arkansas in 2007 too.

So when this totally arbitrary mini-series goes 6 - 4 in a few weeks is your damage control going to be "but we've won more since 2007!"?
Posted on 10/19/15 at 1:06 pm to BamaDude06
This has been a conversation full of "what ifs". So my "what if" had LSU beating Bama and running the table.
You can't take this away from me!!!!

Would you prefer I refer to "4 in a row", or would you like for me to bring up the all time Bama v LSU record (49–25–5)?

But will you match the 5 in row that LSU has on Bama from 2003-2007? That's the real question here.

Already done...11 in a row ('71-'81).

All-Time is fine - you guys really should schedule Texas and Oklahoma though they're ruining your dominance against all college football programs

Then, on bama's tying FG drive, Cooper clearly traps a pass in LSU territory (the slo mo replays and the announcers showed the ball was moving.)
BS. First off, it wasn't Cooper...it was Christion Jones....
The announcers (Danielson and Verne) never said the ball moved...Danielson just asked "Did he control it?" and then said it didn't matter as Bama got the snap off. They showed the replay twice, both times from the same angle, you couldn't tell if the ball hit the ground or if Jones had his hand under it...maybe replay would have had a different angle but the one they showed on TV was not conclusive...
And Bama did not hurry to keep LSU from throwing the challenge flag...there were only 13 seconds left in the game and they were in a hurry up to stop the clock as they had no timeouts...not throwing the challenge flag is all on Miles...he had plenty of time to throw it and with only 13 seconds left in the game, there was no reason not to throw the flag since being penalized a timeout there would have no consequences...

Yeah, but we played so well in 2012. Sometimes you lose when you play awesome, even if you outplay the opponent. That's sports.
2014 we didn't really even play all that great. Defense was spectacular for most of the 2nd half, but we didn't play great overall.

Are you riding those B12s now?

I don't know why all the down votes. It is just a history lesson.

2012 LSU didn't deserve a NC Bc the offense was bad. Even if had beat Bama I don't know if would've beat Georgia. But at least Bama wouldn't have won it. 2014 loss sucked but LSU sucked anyway and Bama didn't win it anyway.
