David Saunders, the former Ragin’ Cajuns assistant football coach who, according to NCAA allegations, committed major recruiting violations at UL, may have known of or been involved in NCAA rules violations while he was employed by Ole Miss, UL’s August response to a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA shows.

UL disclosed the NCAA’s charges and its response Sunday, three days after a public records request by The Daily Advertiser.

The NCAA alleges Saunders arranged for six Cajun recruits, five of whom later played at UL, to take their ACT exams at the same test center, Wayne County High School (WCHS) in Mississippi.

There, someone monitoring the tests allegedly helped to improve the scores.

UL says in its response that, “Based on the investigation, the University learned that other prospective athletes recruited by Ole Miss during Saunders’ tenure at that institution also took ACT exams at WCHS that resulted in questionable scores.”

Ole Miss, y'all is some cheating cheaters.

Edit: Honestly, something needs to be done. When you put this in context, where we just learned that Tunsil received thousands and thousands of dollars of illegal benefits, over the course of many transactions, it becomes clear that this is an institutional issue.

Aggy's rebsession is in full bloom. Don't worry, you will get our attention soon enough.

All that shite happened under a different HC and a different AD. There's no reason they would penalize the current administration.

I believe this is what Ole Miss has been under investigation for over the past year or so, along with the women's basketball program. I have no proof of this or any link, but I do know that we've been under investigation and it coincides with the timeline of this one.

If they want us to forfeit our 2010 season, or any of the seasons this dude had with Orgeron, we will accept our punishment accordingly.

All of this done during the Pete Boone as AD and Houston Dale Nutt as coach era.

You do realize this guy worked for 2 past coaches and not the current staff ( believe it was Coach O as a field coach and Nutt as an administrator both under Boone as AD)

When you put this into context, Ole Miss may just have to vacate the 2011 season. Our two wins from that year will be sorely missed.
