I have noticed that the Richt haters are out and about so since so many people are calling for his job it makes me curious on who the UGA fans want to be his replacement? Any ideas?

We will trade Spurrier for him

Derek Dooley would be a hell of a hire for them. He wasn't given enough time at Tennessee.

Coach Nutt would love to hep UGA

How many times have we seen this thread??? Ever year they lose a game or 2 that they're not supposed to, and every year they call for him to be fired. Same thing, blah blah blah. Come up with something better or don't start a thread.

Richt will leave when he's ready to retire.

I do not live on this board like yourself so I wouldn't notice that this thread is started quite a bit, but if it bothers you so much how about not commenting on it. Just a thought.

who decides what games teams should win?
I would have never called beating Bama or TN a lock for UGA this year, myself.
they don't have a stellar QB or a lockdown defense.
I think UGA is capable of winning their remaining games. you really want to fire a coach who only lost two games with a medicore QB and defense?

They already had one very successful Dooley. Maybe Derek just needed some time to perfect his craft. I don't know what he's up to now, but Vince Dooley's son should certainly be a popular hire.

Bob Stoops and Mark Richt switching places could be interesting. Richt might have a chance to win trophies in the Big 12.

Richt reminds me a lot of Mack Brown. Firing him sure has worked out great for Texas.

He would be a great fit for UGA. The royal son returns home.

UGA is in a bad place. I mean its pretty clear this kind of result is what they are gonna have to get used to as long as Richt is there, but if they fire him they introduce all kinds of instability to the program. If UGA gives up an inch of recruiting ground in the state of GA with a new coach who isn't a splash hire, the sharks (UF, UT, AU, Bama) are going to come in and have a field day on dem Georgia 'croots. I don't think Richt gets fired but if they do it has to be handled with extreme caution.

Would likely end up with another coordinator or a head coach from a small school and not a big name. They would need to have someone great lined up, or they would go into program instability and those same people would bitch and moan about it.
Justin Fuente or maybe Tom Herman would be the only two good picks here.
