Ok, let's say there's this guy who had parents that are complete libtards and give their son a hyphenated last name. Let's say said guy grows up to have just as big of a socialist boner as his parents. He then meets a girl that he wants to marry, and the girl had come from a similar background and has a hyphenated name.

What the frick happens with their kid's names? Other than the quadruple hyphen

One of my childhood friends had a hyphenated last name. Both his parents were from very prominent families in the city and both were attorneys prior to getting married, so that was the reasoning behind the hyphenation.

When my friend entered college, he decided to just go by his father's surname

Fun fact for the ladies - even if you go with the hyphen, both your last names are still from a patriarchal figure: your dad or your husband.

I've seen them combine one of each combined/hyphenated name.

FWIW, I considered going hyphenated when I get married. Since my brother passed, I'm the last of my Dad's line and considered keeping the name that way.

I also thought it was pretty cool when Michael Gilchrist took on the Kidd in Kidd-Gilchrist when the Uncle that raised him passed.

To each his own I suppose.

BenJarvus Green Ellis: "It might've been Jarvus, then again, it might've been Green, or it might've been Ellis."

Either way, if they don't pick one, I pick it for them, when referring to them.

Cuck-beta move.

One libtard chick I'm friends with kept her last name and her "husband" kept his. She cheats on him regularly (with me) because she isn't sexually attracted to him and doesn't view him as a man.

Even though progressive feminists won't admit it, they want to frick men; not liberal pussies.

I had this exact conversation earlier today with someone in person.

We figured it would become infinitely increasing hyphenation until somewhere down the line a rational descendant would say "Enough of being the Robinson-Johnson-Williamson-Jefferson-Washington-Richardson-Johanneson-Jameson-Douglas-Tyler-Scott-Stevens-Jingleheimer-Schmidt family."

Just name your kid Margie Dalgen - Frost so when she gets older she will get compliments on the hyphen.

I have a hyphenated last name. Family is very conservative as well. Parents split when I was young and were never married. I was a mistake So they decided to hyphenate my last name

I would rather my kids create a new last name than have a hyphenated name
