I'm not really upset at Jake Coker.

The kid didn't have time to breathe in the pocket. Sure he could have played better but really outside of those picks he had a solid game. The OL better get better quick as the aggies can really pressure the QB.

with the pressure he got all night, i was surprised they did not do any roll out type passes and let him run if no one was open. He did not do the naked boot leg either after we showed it last week.

I don't understand our oline. Against UGA, they looked dominant. Against the rest of the schedule, they've looked mediocre to bad.
I think Cristobal needs to consistently earn his paycheck. He has brought in some talent, and now he needs to prove he can coach them.

Getting upset at Coker is like yelling at a cloud. He is what he is. I thought the play calling was suspect and obviously the O line was just bad. The D is playing great, but we'll need to be coherent on offense to beat aTm.

I get aggravated when he throws while stepping or falling backwards. He should have that under control. But yeah.. our O-line is so sporadic. The talent is there, at times they look like they're unbeatable, then they disappear and look like it's their first week playing together. I just don't get it.

You aren't the only one.
We need a passing gameplan within our means. Need to dink and dunk down the field. Just move the chains.

Attempting the long ball just puts us behind the chains.
And we don't have the passing game or running game to make up for it.

I agree, but he's got to learn to take the sack sometimes. If he takes the sack, we can still get the first down. An interception puts the defense right back onto the field, shifts momentum, and we lose the entire drive. Can't keep throwing it into the air as he's getting hit and expect one of our receivers to catch it.
We don't have that kind of luck...

Agree. We was tearing it up going down the field the first two drives, then the play calls and oline self imploded and seemed to affect us until the 3rd quarter.

I tend to agree. I was cussing Kiffin on the first down TD pass call to Ridley. We'd tried like 4 deep passes prior to that so maybe the defense thought we wouldn't try again.

If I could outlaw one thing within our offense, it would be the shotgun formation. But an extremely close second would be zone blocking. It is good for at least 3 f-bombs a game.

Im sorry, the kid has to take the sack on the 2nd INT. No excuse for that throw. Especially in a tight game where every possession counts. Take the sack and play the next play.

Combine Coker's slow release with a porous O-line...He needs every extra millisecond we can muster to maintain any semblance of a passing game.

We've zone blocked our way to a couple of NCs in the past few years. Maybe you didn't notice.

Won't step up in the fricking pocket. I know the pressure is bad, but he tends to slide back and where the tackle is, when he has a clean pocket to step up into and put him in better position to make a throw.

IMO, this is really the only legit complaint you can have about him now. It is really a function of his decision making and he's still making a few like what he is - a first year starter halfway into the season.
He is getting better. He made a couple of scrambles last night where he would probably tried to force the ball earlier in the year. I think he is coming along nicely and now that Ridley is emerging to go with Mullaney, I feel pretty good about where things go from here.
As far as the OL, I recently saw Christobal mentioned as a possible candidate should the Miami job open up and all I could think was please make it so......

I think he means running out of the shotgun.
I agree I'd like to see us run out the I instead of the Pistol.

O-line was a disgrace.

I know the line was bad most of the night. Do you guys think it is the whole line, or just the right side (G and T)?
