If that's the case, why would you post something so concrete as, "He's staying"? Considering you were apparently PERSONALLY part of an NIL deal with this player.

Just got the thumbs up on Deboer.

Lol you mean when the rest of the world and ESPN got the "thumbs up"? What a coincidence.
This method of thinking has now proven itself to be a failure at Alabama. I know Saban was tired of the constant turnover at the coordinator positions, but the experiment is a failure. There's a reason these coordinators haven't been poached by now. Things literally ran better when Alabama was a coaching pipeline. Get some competent coaches to fill these roles now, these guys have had far too long of an audition. And with the talent they've been gifted? Unacceptable.

Incredible. RIP.
I’ve never seen a coach and fan base conduct themselves in this manner. Alabama should hold themselves to a higher standard like every other SEC program (Especially rivals) do. Makes me sick.

Is there any chance we can not make these threads a common thing?

The ring in the center is gorgeous
That boy's life does and will always matter. And people who proclaim "Black lives matter" agree. I'm one of them. As someone whose parents divorced at that age of 7, yeah, I understand what you're saying. Although I am unsure of why or how that pertains to the systemic racism issue at hand. But I do appreciate so much that you've taken in those children. However, racism is still very much an issue and cannot be written off as "individualism". A lot of the communities people cite for black on black crime in certain arguments, what have we tried to do to make those communities better? The first thing someone might say is, "What have THEY done to make it better?", but I spent a good portion of my childhood in a predominately African American neighborhood in Montgomery, AL, and let me tell you, I feel like the city and state failed them. I would argue that far before saying they failed themselves.

At the end of the day, yes, his life matters because he was a human being. You're right.
Yeah, because I rate my intelligence and ability to form rational thoughts based on the scholarly insight (Or as you said it, my "massive downvote ratio") from the brilliant minds on a moderately popular Alabama football forum.

Edit: Wasn't taking a stab at anyone individually, just making a general statement on a silly thought. I like pretty much everyone I interact with on here, but I do think this thread got a bit out of hand and believe some further self-education is in order for some. Happy Fourth.

The race-hustling pimps don't give a shite because he wasn't killed by a white person. His life isn't helpful to their agenda.

See, what you're doing is using this as an excuse to push your own narrative, which is what you seem to be upset about yourself. "Black lives matter" does not mean it's about white on black. Some of the opposition I see to this phrase is sick. You have not done your research. You have not attempted to understand. By the way, do we even have a full report on the situation yet beyond speculation? (That's not rhetorical, provide me a link if you have one)

Some of you have your own agenda and don't even realize it. I'm not going to sit here and talk politics with this board all night, but some you lack empathy in general and that sucks.

And for the love of God, if you're so sick of divide, stop creating it yourselves.
I support the message and video. This is hardly the place for any positive debate, and honestly, these platforms have only made things worse. Social media in general. Too many knee jerk reactions whether it be politically or emotionally driven. All I can say to everyone is keep an open heart and mind, try to understand, and be civil. Roll Tide.
The people in the mentions are so butthurt lol

Uh, hard disagree. His decision is probably the biggest draft and college active football storyline right now. There was going to be a press conference no matter what.
What a meltdown. Still gonna have to be patient with Oats, but man this is so typical.
I’m not a believer, but it does make me very happy to know that it’s benefitting you as much as it is. Merry Christmas and wishing you many more happy days

It is absolutely a combination. However, I think Golding has to go. It’s one thing for inexperienced players to make mistakes. It’s another to be in the last regular game of the season still making the exact same errors that could’ve been corrected weeks before. To be fair, we’ve seen some of this really flare up in some previous big games, but not on this consistent of a level to where the offense is literally carrying us. Making half assed attempts to strip the ball instead of make a tackle, absolutely BLOWN coverages, barely any coverage in the flat, zero pass rush, zero push up front to eliminate inside runs. Remember when we were so dominate up front that we were pretty much forcing everyone to throw if they wanted a chance to win? I’m not saying I expected that this year, but to get gashed like we have been? Unacceptable. I find it hard to believe that every player on the team was prone to non-progression versus Golding just simply not being fit for a DC position.
